Kamala Harris under threat? Bullet damages found at Arizona Dem poll campaign office as more Republicans back her

A gunfire was reported on Monday night at US Vice President Kamala Harris's election campaign office in Arizona a few days ahed of her presidential campaign in the state.

Over a week ago, a second assassination attempt against former US President Donald Trump who is the Republican candidate.

The bullet damages on the front windows were found at the Democratic National Committee campaign office in Tempe, Arizona, when the staff arrived there on Monday morning. No one was inside the building when the shooting occurred.

The gunfire comes at a time when more Republicans are rallying behind Harris in Arizona. The latest GOP face to endorse the Democratic presidential candidate is retired Maricopa County Attoney Rick Romley, hwo has been an outspoken critc of Trump.

However, this is not the first time that similar gunfire occurred at the office. On September 16, similar shots were fired at the front windows using what seems to be a BB gun or a pellet gun.

The local law enforcement has beefed up security on the premises and is analysing the evidence from the spot. Police are yet to make any arrests in both the incidents.

Meanwhile, reports quoting Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung said Trump was facing "real and specific threats" from Iran as part of its efforts to "sow chaos in the US".
